Write for Rights: Amnesty’s Campaign for Daria Egereva Across Countries

As November begins, Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign offers more ways to support Daria Egereva. A Swedish campaign running from early November through December, a Spanish-language petition in Puerto Rico and educational resources in Argentina show how the call for her freedom can reach different communities.
These initiatives build on the international support documented in our earlier coverage. Some pages have no visible publication date: this overview brings together available opportunities to act, rather than presenting every appeal as newly published.
Sweden: A Campaign for November and December
Amnesty Sweden’s Skriv för frihet 2026 campaign includes Daria among the people whose freedom supporters are asked to defend. It describes her peaceful work protecting Indigenous rights, lands, languages and cultures, and calls for her immediate and unconditional release.
The campaign runs from early November until the end of December. Its page invites people to register and order materials for local activities, giving groups a practical way to bring Daria’s story into their communities.
Puerto Rico: A Petition in Spanish
Amnesty International Puerto Rico’s dedicated appeal introduces Daria as a Selkup Indigenous rights and climate justice defender. It recalls her commitment to her people, culture and environment, alongside personal details: her love of reading, walking outdoors and gathering berries with her family.
The page asks readers to sign a petition for her immediate and unconditional release. It explains that international attention can help protect her and strengthen demands for her freedom.
Argentina: Bringing Daria’s Story into Human Rights Education
Amnesty Argentina’s Write for Rights 2026 educational resources include Daria’s story alongside those of other campaign participants. The resources connect individual cases with discussion of how people organise, defend communities, celebrate identities and participate in public life.
This educational approach gives her story a place beyond news coverage: in conversations about rights, community and solidarity.

The links below bring together Amnesty appeals and our previous reporting. They offer different ways to learn, share, sign petitions or organise letter-writing activities.
International Solidarity Means Sustained Action
Amnesty International’s national sections, volunteers and supporters deserve recognition for keeping Daria’s story visible across languages and borders. Petitions, educational resources, videos and letters make it possible for people who have never met her to take a concrete step in support of her freedom.
Our earlier overview of Amnesty’s international campaign also covers the organisation’s global biodiversity explainer and video appeals. Together, these materials show how sustained public attention can be connected to action.
The Amnesty appeals collected here focus on Daria. Our campaign continues to call for the release of both Daria and Natalia Leongardt, whose practical and organisational work helped Indigenous representatives participate in international processes.
Follow an Amnesty appeal, share a verified campaign page, or find out how to write to Daria and Natalia through our website. Solidarity must continue until they are free.
