An international solidarity campaign in support of Daria Egereva has been launched — the video flash mob “Free Daria!”
Representatives of Indigenous peoples, human rights defenders, environmental activists, and everyone who believes in the right of Indigenous peoples to be heard are invited to participate.
The format is simple: record a short 5–10 second video in which you say a call to free Daria in your native language, and then add in English: “Free Daria!” It is important to hold a sheet of paper or a sign with the words FREE DARIA visible in the frame. Send all videos and photos to free.daria@proton.me
You may also submit a photo holding a sign that includes the call to free Daria in your native language and in English.
Filming on your ancestral land, in traditional clothing, during everyday activities, or next to cultural symbols is especially welcome. Even a few seconds can become part of a global mosaic of solidarity.
The goal of the campaign is to show that Indigenous voices stand together — across distances and borders. Sometimes it takes only a few seconds to show support — just to say: Free Daria!
